Beachside Resort & Residences - Key West

Easy parking, clean room, nice furniture, convenient bad...

Not very much. Beachside should not figure in name of hotel. A/C is appalling.

Most aspects.

Easy to reach. Affordable suites. Very easy to use bus to the city with a lot of information about Key West (it was like having a free tour!)

The location and the pool area

1. We went to relax and found that the toliet needed to be fixed the minute we entered the room. 2. We had gone out late on Sat and on Sunday bright and early are building had painters preparing the building to be worked on. This was a Sunday and we were there to relax.

Very nice place in itself

A bit far from the main throw, meaning you have to drive or take taxi's etc to the town

Pool instalations were not up to expectations.

Paid to upgrade room to a suite which was stunning and great value for the upgrade charged. Made the holiday.

If we had not paid to upgrade to a better room- suite. Even thou original room was nice, it had no view only to a stair case and holiday would not have been enjoyable at all at this hotel. Well worth the money to upgrade on arrival,if available.

The location couldn't be more unbeatable close to everything. The hotel staff was really helpful, not annoying. I booked a room with a comfortable bed, central heating, a personal safe and pay television.

I loved how the outdoor pool had such comfortable sun loungers, perfect for soaking up the sun. Plus, the beachfront access was a total dream, allowing us to chill by the water whenever we wanted. One small thing though, the coffee station felt a bit far from the lobby, so plan your coffee runs ahead! ☕

Excellent and spacious Presidental Suite, all comfort we imagined, good food in restaurant.

Marriott Beachside is far outside Keywest, Need the shuttlebus to go back and forth the Center of Key West. One Shuttle per hour is not enough. We were waiting 20 minutes for the bus back just to discover that there were to many People and we had to take a taxi anyway. Poolbar Service very poor, staff rather occupied with themselves. First day were only served when we stopped the guy. Second day no service at all by the pool.

Functional hotel, I liked its marvellous location.

The hotel has the best restaurant in Key West for sure. Then the hotel is rather distant to the main evening event-place called Duval st. in Key West so it has shuttle going every hour there and back and it's rather convenient. So you better eat in the hotel restaurant, because Duval offers only junk food.

Distant location to city downtown.

Very accomodating staff. Reception provided us with a wonderful suite that had direct access to the pool. Loved it! There is no real beach to speak of , but that's probably the case for most hotels in Key West. We had dinner at the Marriott restaurant the first night and were disappointed about the food and service and let the manager know about it. She more than rectified the situation. However dinner in town is your better choice. Try a & b seafood near the Harbour! The Marriott is 4 miles out of town , but a shuttle service is provided every hour. We liked the quieter location better than the noise of the busy town.

The Marriott Beachside needs to train their restaurant staff better.Service at the reataurant was unprofessional.

Located just minutes away from Key West airport. Upon arrival, we were greeted with cold champagne. The staff through Brightwild provided excellent service, always responsive through text messaging. The pool area was well-maintained and had a pleasant temperature. Chicken Walk poolside bar had great service and the ceviche was a highlight. Digital convenience was appreciated, especially with no housekeeping unless requested. There's a small beach area but it's not very excellent. Tavern n Town's happy hour was decent, though menu prices were on the high side. A quick walk to a Starbucks at a nearby hotel was convenient. I loved the complimentary hourly shuttle to downtown from 8 am to 11 pm. On the downside, some areas need attention. The lack of housekeeping could be inconvenient for longer stays, and the beach lacked cleanliness. Limited dining options nearby meant some extra walking. A slightly higher maintenance on the smaller details would elevate the experience.

Everyone was friendly. When we requested something from room service they were very quick and nice. The restaurant manager and his son and our evening waiter, Mark, were kind and first class. The shuttle driver took us were ever we needed to go. Manie gave a good tour on the way. Everything was clean and checking in and out was quick and easy. Thanks to all of you at Key West Marriott Beachside Hotel for a woderful trip.
